Brace yourselves for BAD Weather

This is the current water temperature map.
The critical temperatures for hurricane strength storms have been met in most of the Atlantic. Its only May and the Gulf water temperatures are two degrees above normal. The conditions that created Katrina still exist and the chances of a repeat of last year's events are greater than the year before it. Due to the accelerated thermal heating of the water it is more likely that this year will produce more storms over a greater period of time.
Hurricane season was said to begin on June 1st. Hurricane season starts when we make it start. Hurricane season starts on May 24, 2006 this year with the reaching of the critical temperature.
